Camp reflections
Posted: Monday, January 11, 2010 by Jun Jie Yeo inLast friday, we went to surimbun scout camp for a 2 day 1 night camp. We had fun there, and got down to earth literally. There were high elements, a trek and water activities. On the first day, we got to our hands and made a raft that floats, then we 'sold' it. Then we went to the high elements. I fell, but it was actually part of the fun. At night, there was a night trek. I realised that all the activities organized were to make us go beyond our comfort zones and face our fears. although in the end we did not win, we still had a lot of fun

- Why is this value important and how will it help you in your learning experience in SST?
IT means that we should never stop learning and always learn even from people around the world.
I think that it is important as in SST, we need general knowledge to do our projects and homework as the homework that is given will not be the same as other schools
Bridge building
Posted: Monday, January 4, 2010 by Jun Jie Yeo inI feel that it was quite fun to build the bridge as a team as we can work well together and we worked quite well together. I learnt that I do not really think about what to build first and always put the cart before the horse. I did not really experience fears, discomforts or apprehensions as I am used to working as a team and we built the bridge with success.
